OK, so life is not always “funny”, but laughter does make the difficult times a lot more bearable. When John and his family bought their home in California, what they discovered after move-in was no laughing matter; mold in the walls, a broken pipe in the walls, a rusted swap cooler in the wall, and a tree growing in the wall, you get the picture.
Keeping their heads up and following a series of God inspired leads, the Cox family was selected for “Extreme Makeover Home Edition” and everything but “the walls” came down. Their home was completely remodeled and their lives were touched beyond measure. John shares pictures, video, and stories from this life-changing event that have taught him so many lessons about life, faith, community, and the need to never stop being a kid or lose your sense of humor.
